I'm Grant, and I love science and design.
I am energetic (understatement), cheerful, and kind (I think; you’ll have to ask my friends). I get my work done and I strive to make it pin-sharp and effortlessly beautiful. I whistle a lot (sorry) and I usually find myself tapping out a rhythm on my car steering wheel or desk.
In my past I've created products ranging from professional grade, web-based geodatabases to beautiful cartographic products that hang in classrooms across America.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, read, lift, and design maps for fun. Younger, more-nimble me liked to photograph our beautiful city of Chicago. I'm really good at design, cartography, anything tech related (AV, computers, IOT, emerging technologies), and I can make pretty snazzy PowerPoints.
